Hi, I read that they are fidgety and quick as babies. Why is this? How do you bond to them? Is it possible that if you house two lizards together they will bond better together rather than bond better to you?? Thanks!!

Thanks for your post, secret.
Welcome to the forums!
All baby lizards are "fidgety" and quick, esspecially as young hatchlings. As they get older, they will not be as fidgety. To build a relationship with your lizard, you need to handle them frequently, for about 10 minutes or less (don't over do it) every day. Just hold them, let them walk along your hand. You can also try hand feeding which has built the relationship between some owners and lizards. As they get older, they will see you as the person that lets them out of the tank, gives them exercise, and rubs their heads, and they will look forward to your visits everyday. I have never found it true for a lizard to bond better to another lizard if they have the chance to better than they would to you. Lizards are normally solitary animals towards other lizards.
